NAHAR putting all their best efforts by providing confident steps in promoting road safety, health and education both within the group and externally.
At NAHAR we have always believed that good values and good business go together. It’s a part of our heritage as well as the way we do things. Sustainability is about future viability and growing our business responsibly, with the aim of ensuring that future generations enjoy a healthy environment as well as stable economic and social conditions. We are committed to this guiding principle.
Social Responsibility
One of the biggest challenges for the logistics industry is Skills Gap. NAHAR believes that co-operation and collaboration with like-minded organizations can bring about a world of difference in combating this challenge. Our team offering offering courses in logistics and supply chain management. In addition to this, NAHAR also offers warehouse visits and internship projects to students whenever possible.
In the past year, we have taken initiative to conduct blood donation campus across at various places in Punjab, Chandigarh, HP and J&K state, NAHAR also taken up the cause of health, hygiene and awareness among fleet drivers, labors , housekeepers and security guards and also reach out more than 500 truck drivers to provide AIDS awareness training and conduct awareness programs in carbon emissions, traffic regulations and road safety.
We are also trying to take up more corporate social responsibility with the support of NGO and trying to implement more in INDIA AND ABROAD.
Environmental and Climate Change
We feel our moral and social responsibility to help to save our earth from highly carbon emissions and contributes significantly to the carbon footprint. NAHAR organizes tree plantation activity in its warehouses and offices in INDIA AND ABROAD, even rain water harvesting system is implemented in our warehouses across every locations.
Our all warehouses use transparent roofing to curtail use of electricity for lighting. CFLs are used instead of regular light bulbs in offices and head office. Recycle paper bins are kept in the corporate and zonal offices where employees can dump their used papers which are then exchanged with vendors for recycled paper.
